Many of our customers initially react sceptically when they read this combination. Where is the common denominator? It is the sun, not only the strawberries and the fresh basil ripen in the sun, but also the grapes of our sparkling wine come from the steep slopes of the wonderful Mosel banks, more precisely from the small winegrowing village of Briedel. It is impossible to imagine dessert cuisine or outstanding ice cream parlours in Berlin without strawberry and basil in combination. A balanced interplay of acidity, sweetness and tartness.
