The fermentation for 40 months on full lees is finding an end and has created something impressing. The Suez Canal was opend on 17th November 1869 during a three-day celebration with wine from Reichsrat von Buhl. We take this historical event as an opportunity to present our „ Suez Vintage 2015“ the public 150 years later. Selective hand-picking of our best grapes, the fermentation of the basic wine in 500l tonneaux and stainless steel as well as the traditional bottle fermentation for 40 months of yeast contact have created a sparkling wine for unique moments. You are welcome to look forward to the pleasure of 100% of organic Riesling at the highest level.
Juicy, yellow-fruity notes and brioche in the glass. Creamy and fine texture with fresh acidity and a long lasting finish. This sparkling wine will develop greatly over the next 10 years.
