The grapes of this excellent vintner’s sparkling wine come from the best vineyards of the village of Briedel on the Moselle. The Briedeler Nonnengarten, the Briedeler Schäferlay and the Felsenterrassen Trieren are all three steep sites with slate soils typical of the Moselle. Only the best grapes are harvested by hand and used for the base wine for sparkling wine. Herbicides are not used at all, thus preserving the biodiversity of the vineyards.
