And that’s why we quickly put the international out of our minds: because this is a Palatinate Sauvignon. The exotic notes are perhaps kiwi, but they are joined by gooseberries and a present acidity that gives it a lot of bite and body. And they are not exotic at all, but rather very Palatine.
